Actors' Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre
The Mainstage at Miracle Theatre brings a mix of classics plays and musicals to theatre-lovers as well as plays written by South Floridians themselves. Come here to get a sense of Miami's cultural and artistic scene. Ticket prices range from $17 to about $60, depending on the desired show's day, time and the seats available. Group rates are available for parties of 15 or more.
Get the children involved in theatre by bringing them to one of the many shows in the Children's Theatre. The 2009-2010 season is a fun lineup, with a musical version of Alice in Wonderland, Jack and the Beanstalk, Madeline's Christmas, Young King Arthur and Pippi Longstocking.
Actors' Playhouse provides acting classes for children, teens and adults. Take classes such as Just Act, Musical Theatre I and II, Let's Make Believe, Lights Camera Action and Adult Acting. Fees are about $225-$300 for sessions lasting up to 10 weeks.
