Santa's Enchated Forest: Miami's Winter Wonderland
Published: Oct 27, 2009
Santa's Enchanted Forest in south Miami is the closest thing to a Winter Wonderland you'll find in Florida. This festive and fun Christmas extravaganza begins November 5, 2009 and runs through January 3, 2010 at Tropical Park.
There might not be snow in Miami for Christmas, but at Santa's Enchanted Forest you'll find a 92 foot Christmas tree, more than 3 million Christmas lights, games, a petting zoo and pony rides. Watch the sneak peek video for more information.
You're never too old to sit on Santa's lap and tell him what you want under your tree. Bring your letter to mail through the park's post office. Santa's Enchanted Forest features more than 40 rides, including two big roller coasters for adults and fun rides for the kids. The children will love the shows located around the park, like the Snowstorm Game Show, the Sea Lion Show, Gifford and Roy Magic, BMX Stunt and Thrill Show and Wayne Francis Puppeteer and Ventriloquist. There's lots of food at the park, including stands selling cotton candy, curly fries, arepas, popcorn, churros, pizza, candied apples and more. The admission price for visitors age 10+ is $24 plus tax. If you think you'll go more than once this season, consider purchasing the season pass for $40 and skip waiting in the entrance line. Children under 10 years old are admitted for $17 plus tax and their season tickets cost $29. Once you've paid the admission price, rides, shows, attractions and parking are all free.
