Lucky Strike: Bowling with Style
Never heard of a bowling alley with a dress code? Lucky Strike combines a cool lounge atmosphere with the fun of a group bowling experience.
This is also the only place I know of where you can bowl, play pool, and enjoy a bottle service. As you're bowling, the wall behind the pins scrolls original art from its featured artists.
You'll pay a tad more here than at your neighborhood bowling alley, but in exchange you get nice lounge chairs and booths, cocktail waitresses, a cool scene, tasty appetizers, dinners and desserts. Forget nachos and wings, this place has tuna lollipops -- and they're delicious.
The menu includes small bites like coconut shrimp, Asian chicken skewers, spinach dip and homemade hummus. They've also got pizza, burgers, sandwiches, salads, sides and desserts.
If you want to get some work done while it's not your turn, you can pull out your laptop. That's right, this little spot even has free Wi-Fi.
When you're feeling really wild, you might want to jump into the karaoke booth near the pool tables and belt out a song.
Happy hour is Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the happy hour, enjoy half priced drinks ($4.50 for a rum and coke is not too shabby for Miami).
Lucky Strike can accommodate your parties at the lanes.
If you're new to Miami Beach and visiting Lucky Strike, be sure to walk up and down Lincoln Road after your game. The people watching here is unparalleled, and there are tons of restaurants, shops and art galleries to check out.
