Appetizers of tuna tartare, steamed mussels, oysters rockefeller, grilled calamari, house-cured salmon, and jumbo lumpmeat crab cakes will give you a taste of the ocean.
Soups and salad portions are very generous. These dishes are made to share. New England clam chowder, sliced tomato and red onion salad, spinach salad with hot bacon dressing, ceasar, and BLT salads make excellent, fresh starters.
For a simple and delicious entree, try the Alaskan halibut, red snapper, Costa Rican mahi-mahi, Pacific swordfish, Hawaiian yellowfin "ahi" tuna, or Alaskan king salmon. Try them grilled or broiled, with a brush of lemon, sea salt, and olive oil.
If you're in the mood for seafood of a different flavor, check out a dish like sea scallops with American lobster sauce, grilled Yellowfin Tuna cooked with red wine and exotic mushrooms, "Black and Bleu" mahi-mahi, fish and chips, or an Oceanaire Favorite — jumbo lumb crab cakes with mustard mayonnaise.
Surf and turf, live North Atlantic lobster, and the Alaskan king crab will satisfy hungrier diners. The Oceanaire is also part steakhouse, boasting a 6 or 10 oz. filet mignon, 22 oz. dry-age Kansas City strip steak, 18 oz. churrasco steak, and more.
As far as sides go, they're definitely big enough for a table to share. Although the actual selection varies, you can expect something like steamed asparagus, bok choy with wild mushrooms, au gratin potatoes, creamed corn, fried green tomatoes, and rice pilaf.
The Oceanaire can help you choose the perfect wine to compliment your fish. With a full bar and an excellent bar staff, you'll be able to create any drink you desire. A broad wine selection is available by the bottle or by the glass.
For a quicker, less pricey option, sit at the bar and receive generous 8-ounce glasses of wine for $6-$10. The bar menu includes oyster and cocktail shrimp by the piece, crab cakes, fried calamari, tiger shrimp, fish tacos, tuna tartare and more tasty treats at a reasonable price.
