Blue Martini: a cool lounge with a cool breeze
Located in the heart of Brickell Avenue between several restaurants, Blue Martini Lounge is the perfect spot for after-dinner drinks. Chances are good that you'll end up there, so don't fight it! The colorful lounge is a nice space to mingle, and the outdoor bar lets you catch a cool breeze with drink in hand.
There's a cover only on Friday and Saturday nights. It's $10 and includes your first drink — a great deal, especially when martinis are $14-$16.
Happy hour is every night before 8 p.m., and all drinks are half price! Wednesdays ladies receive one free drink voucher and continue to drink 1/2 price all night. If you're thirsty on Mondays, enjoy $3 beer, $4 cocktails, and $7 martinis.
Mango Madness is a sweet and sassy martini, with Van Gogh Mango Vodka, Mango Schnapps, and a splash of pineapple juice, $14. (It's a pretty drink for pretty ladies!) Men may enjoy the less-sugary and more manly Goose O Cosmo Martini, a mix of Grey Goose L'Orange, Citronge and Cranberry for $16. It's pretty stiff. If you're not into martinis, don't worry: Blue Martini stocks a full bar.
Need to put some substance in your tummy? Menu items include salads, flatbread pizzas, seared tuna, lamb chops, lobster tacos, beef or chicken tenderloin.
There's a live band virtually every night at 8, and if you're still hanging around at midnight, a DJ will be there to spin tunes for the late-night loungers. Tuesday nights come to groove to live jazz music starting at 8.
Other locations include Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa. Love the Blue Martini Lounge? Sign up to become a VIP and get the first scoop on events and promotions.
