If you're not into uppity lounges with strict dress codes and turned-up noses, check out Transit Lounge, where you can chill with friends while playing board games (and no one will judge you for it!).

The outside patio is a great place to hang out when the weather is Miami-wonderful. They've also got a pool table, video games, a friendly staff and drinks galore.

You probably won't find many tourists in this bar. There's a locals feel here that keeps getting better with age. The bar is open until 5 a.m., so when you're done with Blue Martini, Tobacco Road, or dinner nearby, stop in for a drink.

Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 5-8 p.m. Drinks are buy one get one free. On Sunday nights from 9 p.m. on, get 2-for-1 drinks for Transit's In The Biz special.

On Tuesday nights you can jam out and play Rock Band. Wednesday night is usually karaoke night. As you can see from the many activities at this bar, Transit is a place to hang out and have fun without pretension.

Friday and Saturday nights are dedicated to local bands like Conjunto Progreso, The Basiqs, Jahfe and Locos por Juana. There are frequent jam sessions at Transit, so you never know what you're going to see and hear.

Artists check the online calendar for Rough Draft nights. Rough Draft nights at Transit encourage artists of all kinds, painters, musicians, writers, poets, singers and dancers, to come together in a safe place to create and share their art forms.

If you want to see what's going on at the bar, you can view their webcam online
