At the Ritz: Full Moon Parties and Wild Wine Wednesdays

Here are two events at The Ritz-Carlton South Beach that you should know about. You can thank me later.
→Full Moon Parties
Cozy up under the full moon at The DiLido Beach Club, the only oceanfront restaurant on South Beach. Impress your friends with your knowledge of the stars as you peer through an observatory telescope. Get dressed up or come comfy in your favorite jeans.
Mark these Full Moon Party dates on your calendar: April 9, May 9, June 7, July 7, August 6, September 4, October 4, November 1, and December 2. Parties are hopping from 6-11 p.m.
No cover! Signature cockails are a fairly priced $7, as well as select red and white wines. Heineken is on draft for $5. Enjoy smoking complimentary hookah with a variety of flavored tobaccos at the outdoor DiLido Beach Club.
Chef Jeff McInnis whips up tasty Mediterranean creations while you relax under the stars and full moon. Lay back on the elegant couches and let yourself be wooed by live entertainment and a salty ocean breeze.
Full Moon guests can valet park at a reduced rate of $5.
→ Wild Wine Wednesdays
Cure your week-day blues on Wednesdays at the Ritz Carlton SoBe's Bistro One LR (as in "One Lincoln Road"). From 5-10 p.m. choose the bottle of your choice at reduced prices. Price tags are displayed on bottles, and sometimes there will only be one or two bottles of a specific wine for purchse, so it's best to pounce on the one you want.
Sit indoors in Bistro One LR or al fresco on the lovely poolside terrace.
More than 75 wines and Champagne are available at 60 percent off each Wednesday. Bottles start at $15, and there is no corkage fee.
If you're not sure which wine to choose, a sommelier — a trained wine professional — will help you narrow down your options. Once you purchase your bottle, have it chilled to the perfect temperature in the one-minute chiller.
Buy a bottle of Newton Merlot for $45, regularly $114, or a Joseph Phelps Cabernet for $112, normally $280.
