Miami Wine and Food Fest: good times, good cause
The Miami Wine and Food Festival kicks off on Thursday, April 23 with a Taste and Toast at the Village of Merrick Park. From 6-6:45 p.m., VIPs will sample wine and mingle, and from 7-9 p.m. general admission guests will enjoy tastings in Merrick Park. This charity wine event is in its 14th year and still going strong.
You can attend the cocktail reception and silent auction Friday, April 24 at 6:30 p.m. at the JW Marriott Hotel on Brickell Avenue. At 7:30 p.m., celebrity Chef Michael Schwartz will host an Interactive Dinner, with tickets selling for $250 per person. Michael Schwart is chef and owner of Michael's Genuine Food and Drink, located in Miami's Design District.
If you're interested in the larger auction items, maybe you'll fancy the Bubbles, Bids & Bites event on Saturday, April 25 starting at 6 p.m. at the JW Marriott. The night begins with the Champagne Mumm reception at 6 p.m., and at 7 p.m. the real fun starts at the live auction and dinner, $500 per person.
