Indochine Asian Bistro: sushi and pad Thai, oh my!
Located on South Miami Avenue close to Tobacco Road, Indochine Asian Bistro serves a variety of Asian-inspired dishes. Between Japanese, Thai, and Vietnamese delights, you're sure to find something that excites your palate.
The wait staff is friendly, the tables are intimate, and the food is delectable. The walls are padded and lined with decorative Asian photography that is also available for purchase.
At night Indochine's unmistakable red glow makes it hard to resist.
Indochine's Pad Thai is an indisputable menu favorite amongst patrons. The dish comes with your choice of chicken; beef; pork; tofu; or shrimp with rice noodles and egg; bean sprouts; scallions; ground peanuts; and lime.
If you're coming to Indochine for their famous sushi, try the Ladies Choice for $14. Three hand rolls including salmon skin, spicy tuna, and California, come tucked in cone-shaped seaweed wraps and are a fresh alternative to normal roll sushi.
Other popular rolls include the Brickell Roll, with snapper tempura; cucumber; avacado; masago; and spicy mayo; Mango Roll with spicy tuna, mango, cilantro, and masago, and the classic Lobster Roll. Most sushi plates provide eight pieces and are $7 - $15.
On Thursday and Friday nights, a DJ is on hand to spin jazz-funk tunes for the diners. The music is just enough to set a trendy and upbeat ambiance while the volume is low enough for patrons to carry on conversations.
Dress is casual and takeout with delivery is available. For delivery rates, call (305) 379-1525.
