Pieducks Pizza pleases Miami's taste buds
You won't find red and white checkered tables at this pizza joint.
At Pieducks Pizza, the decor is moder, the surroundings are clean and the chefs strive to keep their pizzas as healthy as possibly by using organic products and the freshest ingredients available.
The Pieducks menu includes specialty pies and options to make-your-own pizza. With a clear website and photos of most dishes, online ordering is as easy as pie.
Start off with an order of garlic breadsticks, $7. These breadsticks are baked in the brick oven with olive oil, fresh garlic, romano cheese and ranch dressing.
Medium pizzas are 12 inches wide (six slices) and start at $10. Large pizzas are 16 inches (eight slices) and start at $14.
Pieducks favorites include specialty pies such as the Pipeline Pie (Virginia ham, pineapple, mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce), the Sirloin Pie (lean ground sirloin beef, Pieducks seasoning, romano and mozzarella cheese, and tomato sauce), and the Calabria Pie (thinly sliced smoked Italian sausage, onions, mozzarella, and tomato sauce).
Tasty veggie options include the Deep Forest Pie (spinach, onions, mushrooms, garlic, and green bell peppers), the Major Tom Pie (hearty tomatoes on a three-cheese pizza), the Ole Pie (marinated artichoke hearts, black olives, goat cheese, and olive oil), and the Margherita Pie (fresh organic basil, mozzarella, and tomato sauce) will have any vegetarian's mouth watering.
The salads also cause a splash at Pieducks. Traditional ceasar and house salads are overshadowed by more interesting creations. The $8 Tutomato is made of fresh tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, romaine lettuce, and sliced turkey breast topped with a ranch dressing. The $7 Power Salad is spinach leaves, arugula, romaine lettuce, pumpkin seeds, feta cheese, and red onions drizzled with a honey mango vinaigrette dressing.
For dessert, try the Romeo and Juliet, a cheesecake with guava sauce, $4. Indulge your sweet tooth with Häagen-Dazs ice cream bar or pint, $3-$5.
Pieducks has soft drinks, lemonade, bottled water, iced black tea, and iced green tea.
