The James L. Knight Center, the Manuel Artime Theatre, the Gusman Center, and the Jackie Gleason Theatre of Performing Arts offer a spectacular variety of opera, celebrity performers, concerts and Broadway productions. The University of Miami is home to the Frost School of Music with recitals and performances by talented students.

Downtown Miami’s nightlife and musical entertainment ranges from rock and alternative at Churchill’s Hideway to jazz at Sax on the Beach to Latin with Bongos Cuban Café Nightclub and Miami’s Concorde. A number of pubs and bars include Azul, Marina Bistro Café and Envy Nightclub. For discos and dance clubs with DJ’s or guest artists, there’s Amika Loft Lounge and Discotheque, Cathode Ray or Club Nocturnal.
