Faktura is founded on the belief that a work of art is made in a specific medium because it could be made in no other; that the experience of witnessing a work of art is dependant on the strength of the medium; that it is constructed with the greatest ability within that medium; and that technology can be used to create art in new mediums, but may be mistaken for grandeur due to its novelty.
