Artist Bio
JULIO C. SANCHEZ (JULSAN),was bord july 3,1972,in rio piedras.Puerto Rico.
Son of Dominicans parents,left to the Dominican Republic with his paret at the age of 3 years old.
JULSAN,went to his primary and secundary schools in the city of Barahona,Dominican republic.while attending to primary schooll ( cristo rey)he participated in art contest,ever since he was a child, art always caught his attention.
In 1985 he stared a art course in the (centro de estudios medios ,cem)in the city of Barahona,but the course was suspented due to lack of students.
Julsan always look to the art as a very import part of his life,even thought he never complete any professional art courses.
In 1990 he completed a caligrafy course in his high school (Barney N. Morgan) later in 1991 he graduated of high school.
In 1993, he left to the united states and located him self in the city of Miami.
Julsan found the art as his companion after suffer an accident that almost left him paralyzed in 2000.
while recuperating from this accident ,he dedicated him self to the art as to consoled those moment of depression.
since 2001 he spend time to express his thoughts through art.
In 2002 julsan met in the city of miami. with the pretigious Cuban artist Gonzalo Borges,who offes lots of useful techniques .
In 2003, JULSAN show his art through , cultural fridays (viernes culturales de la calle 8)in the city of miami,where many artist from different part of the word show their artworks.
In 2007, Julsan participed in cultural friday (from April to November).
