Artist Bio
Hi Im johanna and thank you for viewing my page. Ive had a passion for everything creative and artistic since I was a wee lassie and began to take my own art seriously at the age of 17, focusing more on expressing my "adolescent frustrations" and "out of the box" ideas. Now at the age of 20, you can still note the nooks and cranies of "me" in my art, but it has all developed into something I desire for the public to enjoy and most importantly to REACT to. Half of my work is based on my concentration of children. My attempt is to stear the audience/ viewer away from the playful and joyous imaging that stereotype youth as a people. In another portion of my work I incorperate the depiction of hands; using the strong language that hands posess to express a variety of messages and symbolism. My more recent work dabbles in different subject matters and is a bit more abstract but I stay loyal to the two concentrations I developed in studio art.Thank you very much once again for your visit and your feed back is more than welcomed =)
