Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita: (Yes, it's food!)

Converted from an old fire station in the heart of Brickell, Dolores But You Can Call Me Lolita is more than just a catchy name.
With table clothes of white leather, soft white chairs, an attentive wait staff and a cozy atmosphere, you'll forget about your 9-to-5 troubles. Come to the lounge area for the $9 lunch buffet. Kick off your shoes, order a $4 glass of house wine, and unwind with friends on the patio.
Entree pricing at Dolores Lolita starts at $18 and ends at $23, which includes one appetizer per entree. $18 entree choices include lobster ravioli, wild sea-salted salmon, herb roasted chicken, and vaca frita. For $23, choose from the patron-favorites sea bass carnavale and veal churrasco, or go in another direction with grand roasted duck, tuna tartar duo, shrimp and veggie stir fry, among others. If the weather is Miami-perfect, sit outside on the balcony with a full outside bar.
The must-have Dolores Lolita appetizers are the Eggplant Timbales and the humbly titled "Maybe, the best Serrano ham croquettes you have ever tasted". Other appetizers include flash roasted asparagus, zucchini and squash, Asian vegetable spring rolls, gazpacho and more.
Desserts are reasonably priced, so you might as well, right? Each dessert is $2.50, and you can have your pick of coconut creme brule, tiramisu, Lolita's "dulce du leche", and the chocolate souffle "Choccolatissimo". Their dessert menu also includes a variety of after-dinner drinks for about $12.
If you're not ready to haul yourself off to bed yet, head downstairs to Dolores Lolita's club, open after hours until about 3 a.m.
Wise diners should reserve a table ahead of time, especially during weekend rush hours. Large groups, private rooms, and even special menus suited to dietary needs can be accomodated if there is appropriate notice. To organize a large party call the restaurant or e-mail events@doloreslolita.com.
Dolores Lolita is open Monday-Thursday from 11:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. and then from 6 p.m - midnight. Friday hours are 11:30 a.m.- 1 a.m., Saturdays noon -1 a.m., and Sundays noon to midnight. Lolita offers a $9 lunch buffet weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The Club is open extended hours; call for details.
