Archimedean Middle Conservatory Reviews

It has a superior educational level where students are challenged while still encouraged to perform at their greatest ability. Even as intellectual developement is nurtured the school still finds time to also provide the studetns with the arts, physical education and extra curricular activities such as school sport teams which they also excell in.

Being a part of an educational community like Archimedean Middle Conservatory makes us proud parents. The education that is given to our kids is not easy to find in other Miami-Dade schools. The opportunity to start in elementary, go on to middle school, and the possibility to finish 12 years of a good education in a high school. Because Archimedean Middle Conservatory is committed to the rigorous development of student intellect, curiosity and cooperation with a focus on helping students value themselves, their peers and their community. A safe and nurturing environment supports the social and emotional development of students, which is fundamental for effective learning. Archimedean made up of students, teachers, staff and families working together -- initiate the young minds to the art of thinking through the teaching of mathematics, English and the Greek language, and believes that students require multiple opportunities to demonstrate their mastery of concepts. Student s understanding of how they learn empowers them. In their pursuit they promote participatory learning that is experiential, student-centered, developmentally based and individualized to student s particular learning styles and strengths. Also, Archimedean recognizes parents as an integral part of the learning process. Parent-teacher partnerships are important and strongly encouraged. The keystone of the partnership is a circle of communication where information, ideas and concerns are freely shared. In conclusion Archimedean Middle Conservatory can demonstrate the greatness through the results in all the Miami Dade tests like FCAT, SAT, NRT, DIBELS, etc. For all of this we encourage and support the idea for Archimedean to continue growing till high school.

I love AMC! The teachers are so easy to get along with and it is so easy to make friends! The work is not at all hard but a bit time consuming. The staff is great and every day is a fun day!

This school is by far one of the most marvelous schools to ever lay on this earth. I have been here for 7 years and I am still satisfied. The only problem is that the staff and the teachers the president and everything is too good they are so good at what they do its scary! I am class president of 7D and I know when i see a spectacular school. I am so happy!

Archimedean Middle Conservatory is an exellent school even though my friends say its too hard . Our curriculm is amazingly advanced beacuse we are learning things that they are teaching in high school ! I dont see how the Greek language is going to help us later on but whatever. The more knowledge you have the better!

Not good in administrative matters. I do not see organization at any levels. Teachers do not have good attitude towards the students.

The first reason my son goes there and I teach science. The teachers are all great and they care about the students. The school has given opportunity for my son to compete in various competitions like spelling bee, geographic bee.

Great discipline and structure! Primary focus is academics and curriculum/schedule is not interrupted by unnecessary activities. Also, has a great sports program!

Archimedean not only offers the best education in South Florida, but your child is treated as an individual. Ms. Moysidis, the Middle school principal, and the teachers all get involved with your child's education and well being, no other school cares more for their students in an academic and personal level than the Archimedean Schools, the elementary, Middle and Upper Conservatory.

Archimedean provides both a rigorous learning environment alonside a supportive and engaged network of both teachers and students!! The are several intellectual and extracurricular opportunities for students to interact with their peers that have made Archimedean the 3rd top school in all of Florida. Not only do the students have the opportunity to grow mentally and emotionally, but teachers too have the opportunity to learn many new things from what in my experience have been truly amazing and open-minded children. Archimedean is a major hub of future leaders, artists, writers, scientists, and even educators, and I have no doubt it will remain so for many years.

Archimedean middle conservatory has the best teachers, staff and parents you could ask for. The school is the best in dade county. The president of the school gives it his all. The support this school gets from the investors all the way to the parents is incredible. Way to go amc....

There is no other school I'd rather have my child in. Teachers in the Conservatory give serious individual help to all students and watch over them as if they were their own children. Parents who complain about the Academy or Conservatory need a serious reality check. The Conservatory educates students in middle grades, so teachers naturally spend less time communicating with parents because the children are older and able to take more responsibility for themselves; however, compared with any other middle school and any other school for that matter, the teachers remain available and contact parents with concerns and updates before anything really serious might happen. Only someone misguided by a lack of understanding would think otherwise.

The Archimedean Middle Conservatory prides itself on organization, employees work hard on communicating with parents through newsletters, sending informational packets with students and addressing concerns individually.Principal and staff are always willing to listen and provide a solution.

Archimedean Conservatory is a very good school but is lacking organization and above all teacher to parent communication as it is defineitely not the same as with the Academy. Academically it is a great school and the Principal is excellent.
