“An affordable education. Our family came to Sunrise from a private episcopal school. Beyond the caring environment and the joy my children experience every day, the Sunrise tuition is about half of other private schools in the area. I know cost should not be a consideration, but the school would be a great value at twice the price.”

“I love the school, it develops hands, hearts and minds as well. The curriculum is engaging and fascinating for the children. They are always inspired and motivated. The many seasonal celebrations and festivals nourish the whole community.”

“This is simply the greatest educational system and greatest school I have known! It is a system that develops the whole child so children bloom into wonderful human beings. They become excited and passionate about learning and develop into happy, confident, intelligent, creative and well balanced human beings. This is almost like homeschooling, just better! I encourage all parents to come to an open house and see for yourself! Parents... do you just feel the whole public educational system is somehow wrong? Do you know it is destroying your childs happiness, self worth and self esteem? Does your child hate school? Please come and visit. You will be so happy you did. Your lives will be forever changed! I just wish all kids could be as happy as my child; and all parents as happy as I am with their education! A VERY HAPPY MOM!”

“Waldorf education truly does provide a proven alternative to traditional methods. Sunrise School of Miami has inspired a love of learning in both of my children that attend. Both are not only learning the crucial academic work that is needed to be productive, but they are learning life skills that will allow them to find solutions to the unique problems that are facing us as a Nation! My children are engaged in their learning processes and truly live into their lessons - they have become self motivated and more assured as human beings.”

“This Waldorf school has been amazing for my daughter. Since attending Sunrise, her ability to love learning, recite poetry, speak Spanish and just glow in her learning is amazing. I cannot recoomend it enough. We will be sending our other two children to Sunrise as soon as they are old enough to attend.”

“The absolute best school in South Florida! There is nothing like this place. I wish all parents in South Florida could visit Sunrise School of Miami at one of their many open houses. To see for themselves that there is a better education option out there that will enrich the child in mind, heart & soul instead of stripping it bare. This is a place where children get to be in a beautiful environment all day, eat healthy, move their bodies, be in nature and while in class learn at their own place all while having a loving teacher who truly cares for them. This is the next best thing to learning at home. I have a daughter enrolled now who loves her school and cannot wait for Monday's! I will also be sending my son there in 2 1/2 more years.”

“My daugther attends Sunrise School (currently in the Early Childhood class room) and has grown so much emotionally as well as intellectually. Her imagination has flourished and continues to grow every day. Also, she has developed a spirit of cooperativeness that is truly amazing to see in a 6 year old.”

“The Sunrise School of Miami is the kind of school you would have enjoyed attending. My son (8th Grade) and my daughter (4th Grade) have only been taught by the Waldorf method and they are both two well-rounded good kids who love their school, their teachers and their classmates. The SSOM teaches the Arts, the core subjects and the students have fun doing it. The students are not taught to the FCAT. A student-to-teacher ratio of 4.5-to-1, a campus having more greenspace than concrete and a true teacher-parent partnership only enhances the learning experience for the child. Great school, dedicated teachers, involved parents and happy children - who could ask for anything better!”

“Excellent school - My daughter loves being part of a Waldorf school. She has an amazing desire to learn and loves all aspects of her education here at Sunrise School of Miami. Her teacher, Mrs. Dawn Diehl has truly made a difference in the lives of all her students - their main lesson books are amazing! Bravo to the faculty and staff.”
