Riviera Middle School Reviews

My child is a 6th grader this year in the Multimedia Technology program. The teachers are dedicated, communicative & above all caring with all the children. The administrators are very dedicated & keep a close watch over the kids to help them succeed. My child has been in private ed until this yr & I can tell you hands down RMS public is the best school our child has been to so far!

This school has an excellent magnet program in Multimedia Technology. The overall school class ratios are small 16-25 students. My child has learned how to create music on a computer, make movies and cartoon animations. Take the time to go see the school, they have open school on Thursdays, or basically anytime you want. I don't even live in the school area, but chose to send him there because the teachers really care about the students.

This school is awesome. I love it. The teachers and students are great and its the best school i've ever seen! If you are a paresnt that does not want to put their child there, you should. It will be the best choice you've ever made.

Both my children attend this school. The teachers do not care about the children's education. I feel that they are just there to get paid and not care about their education. The vice principal thinks he is running a military school and the principal does not care to listen to the parents concerns. This school has been a big disapontment. I have accually complaind to the school board on several occations I will take the nacessary steps to see that the entire school staff does what they are there to do. Both my children and I believe that they are being picked on and it's come to the point where my children are actually afraid to go to school. Part of their punishments is to clean the school and miss out on their class work.

The school is ratially unbalanced, hence limiting exposure to different cultures, the class sizes are too large on average compared to other schools within the district and county, and students do not even realize how limited their potential is by attending Riviera.

Riviera Middle school is a great school. The teachers are the nicest and they love to teach. They have FREE touring after school, and after school activities. I've been going to this school for 2 years and when my 3rd year comes, i don't want to leave. You should think about sending one of your children here, because if they love to learn new things ,then this is the school for them.
