Hallandale High School Reviews

I went to South Broward for 2 years, one of which I ended up failing because all the teachers had no motivation to teach. I spent one year so far at Hallandale All Magnet High School, and I'm almost on the top. I am the ambassador for the graphic design department, and I have to say that the teachers here are amazing, as well are the students. With many after school programs and extra-curricular activities, I have to say that Hallandale All Magnet High School has changed my life around completely

Best school ever. It has made the best improvement in a school and I love the programs. There are different programs for the students. These programs help students with career choices.

it's a great school! Ms. Bell is a great teacher

I love this could i am a 9th grader and i benn here for only about four months and i already like it ,its an organise school andthe staffs and administrator are keeping it on track

Mr. Davis the world history teacher and Mrs. Hankerson a math teacher are one the best teachers in the whole school. They motivate me to retain my education.

I believe in Hallandale High. I believe that the students are extremely intelligent. No student can succeed to the best of their ability unless they know that about themselves. This is the focus that the Principle, Ms. Chambers, is continually flowing down from her position in the school. She is very demanding in her standards for APs, counselors, teachers, and students alike. Hallandale High is 200% better than in previous years and Hallandale High needs the cooperative work of the parents, not just the administration and staff. I am excited about the changes as a parent that is happening at Hallandale High and I believe that the children there are going to benefit tremendously from the efforts being put forth. I have experiences private schools, homeschooling, and other magnet schools, and I would not have my child go to any other high school. Hallandale High is out for the students!

Hallandale High is one of the best schools to mature in, the history of the school is nowhere near what has been said. Hallandale High has great educated, qualified teachers who are concerned about the students and their education. Hallandale High does need some improvements, the problem with that is the parents nor students speak up and attend the meetings concerning the school. The surrounding area of the school is not all peaches and cream, its LIFE! There are many AP and honr courses, also there is a Dual Enrollment program for Juniors and Seniors, which allows the 11tha nd 12th graders to attend Broward Community College and earn a 2 year degree. Extracurricular activities are phenomenol, such as Student Government, Divas of Tommorrow, Band, DFrama Club, Class Officers, Gospel Chorus, and many more.

This school needs a new principal who is willing to support her teachers and staff. They have a new guidance counselor, they were better off with the old one. THe only thing nice that she has done is decorate the school. Otherwise I took my child out as soon as a saw what was going on.

Not that good with safety but because of the neighborhood the school is located in.

strict rules enforced in this school for the safety of our children. Good gifted program

Hallandale to my opinion is da very interesting to me.Compared to others schools I've been through i feel more fitted in this school. The many activities, learnig way, and friends all fall in a good catergory. The school just became a magnet school giving the oppurtunity for students to be learning in a higher standard. There are so many extracurricular activities that students can join like Football,Baseball,Soccer,Track,Softball,Baseketball,Band,Choir,Army JROTC,Editorial, and etc.We have this program where most of these are at,especially tutoring .I feel that not enough parents are not that involve in school because I usually dont notice much involvement of them.

Great educational opportunity! Especially with the AP classes that are offered.
