Henry D. Perry Middle School Reviews

I think H.D Perry is a very great and leaded school. I think it could be less strict and a little bit more cleaner.

H.D perry isnt really a bad school, many people say that it is the worst school but it really is not. The school is also very encouraging to pass the f-cat because they have this thing that if 60 percent of the students in the school get a 3 or higher in the math f-cat teachers (that voulenteered) dye thier hair blue or wear a blue wig I dont know how it works but overall it is a good school from my point of view.

H.D.Perry Has gone there many rough years and have faced great adversities. I have three children who currently attend. In the past two years we have introduced a new principle and two A.P. the third A.P. has been there throught think and thin. She is a phenomenal woman. Steve Frazier is the best thing to walk throught Perry's door. His heartbeat is for the students and the staff. Many changes have occured, all for the best. The school has had a bad reputation for many years but the adminatrative staff is altering that daily with implamations to change the standards in which the school is run. My children were affraid to go to school when they first entered Perry, now they can't wait to go. They feel save, nurtured, and challenged in all areas. Perry offers many programs to meet your chid's individual needs. Thanks

A good school with many administrators.

Terrible school! From the administration to the lack of qualified teachers...this school get a grade of 'F' in my book. Very little parent involvment The overaged students are paired with 'normal' students and the entire classes suffer.

One of Miramars oldest middle schools. Three of my children have attended school here. The teachers are ok, the administration is absent and the athletics are not great if your child wants to play in HS. Overall ok school.

Overall my son has not experienced any problems like the ones people have indicated before attending this school. I do beleive the teachers could be a little more understanding of the students and not over exagerate on the little things....More homework would be great especially for those students having a hard time. Like we tell our children, the teachers need to take the time to give extra homework to the students who are asking for it. Not many parents know how their children are doing until it is too late. Fortunately I'm not one of them and I do appreciate all the effort the teachers give. However, a little more goes a long way. I know it can't be easy and parent participation would help. Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to give my input and hopefully this will only help my son get the proper education he deserves.

The school has rude teachers, disgusting bathrooms, food that is awful and one time my child found items that arent even food and was very nasty. They serve milk that is expired, and the school needs to tidy up very much because it's just horrible!

The school's bathrooms were always in a mess, the breakfast does not taste good and the lunch makes you sick. The Extracurricual activities are so boring.
