Sheridan Hills Elementary School Reviews

Sheridan Hills is the best kept secret in Hollywood, FL. The school is not overcrowded, no portable classrooms! The teachers are the best of the best and many of them National Board Certified! The special teachers (art, P.E., Media, Music etc.), are wonderful! Love you Ms. Treado and Ms. Fogerty! My daughter has attended since K.. she is now in 2nd grade.(Love Ms. Corriveau!) If you are moving into this area and your children are zoned for Sheridan Hills Elementary, consider yourself extremely lucky!

My daughter attends Sheridan Hills Elementary for Speach Therapy. The school is excellent. The teachers as well as the staff are caring and truly interested in educating the children left in their care. It is a modern facility and updated classrooms.

Due to work relocation, we have had to move a few times in the last 2 years...our daughter is now in 7th grade but attended Sheridan Hills for grades K-5. It by far is the best school she has ever attended. Dont get me wrong..not everything is perfect...there is always one thing or another that we all hated about the schools we went to but my daughter and the rest of our family cherish the Sheridan Hills days and the memories. One downfall? At the time there was not enough music availability for instruments, etc. The best thing about this school? Ms. Corriveau!

My daughter started attending Sheridan Hills in 2004, after we moved from NYC. I can't express how impressed I am with the level of teaching at this school. The teachers are are so in 'tuned' with their students. Academically, the lessons are geared to give the children a level of intelligence that far exceeds that of the 'average' child. The school offers art, music, a chorus group and a host of physical activies. Here is an elementary school where you find children that take pride in their school. Sheridan Hills also instills a competitive nature in the student, not to mention the great preparation for FCAT testing. My child faced the FCAT with no hesitations and had tremendous results as did many of the students hence Sheridan Hills moving from a 'B' school to an 'A' school. Way to go S.H.E!

Good school. Not great but good.

I am very impressed so far with this school. My daughter is attending kindergarten and the teachers, guidance counselors and principal are all very caring, accessable people. The school is very organized and the parents are kept up to date with activities and announcements thorugh a folder my child brings home daily. I highly recommend this school.

This is a great school. Thank you to all the people who made this school be so good. Thank you and good bye MR. Pariso!
