Comstock Elementary School Reviews

I like This School, my son attended pre-k for 2 years his teachers & Speech therapist were always ready to give suggestions on activities to help develop any area that he needed help on. Teachers who take really good care of all children, my son liked going to school. The principal is a wonderful woman always on top of all issues pertaining to the safety of the children in the school. staff always attentive to anything that happened around the school. Safe & secure school.

This is a school that has good and bad things, but in general most of the the teachers work hard fo the benefit of our children. I want to thank Ms. Iglesias for her fine job and dedication, she is not only a great teacher but a great human being. My daughter received her unconditional support as well as the rest of her classmates. I'm very grateful!

I think thia is the worst school ever. I think that the only teachers who care about the students in this school are the esol teachers.

One of our children is a former student of Comstock. All I can say is that after 6 months of his attendance we moved to another area just so he can attend a better school. The teachers were not attentive to his needs as a new student there and he had such a hard time adjusting that moving was the best alternative. We also noticed that the level he was being taught at was far lower than the school he had attended prior. We can't say that we would recommend this school to anyone.

My children started attending this school last year and I am very proud of the education they received. My daughter whose in Kinder this year learned so much by starting the PreK program here at Comstock.Ms.Simoni and Ms.Fuentes did an excellent job.Actually Fabulous. My daughter knows how to write her First and Last name, how to identify the numbers, letters, colors and so much more. I am very proud of them. My son whose in 1st grade this year also received the best education ever. Knows how to read, add, subtract and loves going to school (thank you Ms. Jambu). The truth is I'm trully amaze of how much they've learned. Not only academically but also interacting with others, respect, and discipline. Thank you for doing such a great job and administration is great. Most importantly has parents we need to become more involve in our childrens education. If any one wants to contact me do Ingrid 786-210-3493(parent)

Comstock is a small school in a diverse, grass roots community with a committed, caring and capable team of ESE teachers who have had less resources than they should have to work with, yet have somehow been effective in spurring academic growth and social development in their students. Administrative changes incorporating increased responsiveness to parents and support of teachers have contributed to positive changes at this school over the last couple of years. If you have an ESE child, do not overlook Comstock!
