Amelia Earhart Elementary School Reviews

My children are in Amelia Earhart Elem. school. . The teachers are highly skilled and work hard to bring out the best in each child, also they are very concern about them as a human being, and consider their special circumstances that could their have. Dr. Hernandez (the principal) is kind and made them feel that is always an open door for them if their need her. As a mother of two children this school makes me feel secure, because i know that are their receiving an excellent education. i truly recommend this school.Thank you A.E.E.S for the wonderful job that you do .

Great school. The administration is very involved and cares about the students and the teachers needs.

Excellent school. The teachers are very dedicated as is the administration. The parents are very involved. If feels like your kids are in a private school setting.

I have experienced several dificulties dealing with the school staff and Dr. Hernandez regarding some issues with my two children currently attending the school. I find then uncooperative and altough they ask for more parental involvement, the staff make you feel like a nuisanace when you do get involved. They don't mind financial help or help with their several extracurricular activities, but when it comes to the children well being and education parents opinions are not welcome. There is an incredible lack of safety and hygene measures. My child spent most of his kindergarten year watching videos in class (not the after care, but actual classroom). I can't wait for the year to end so I can place my children in a school that takes academics as seriously as Amelia Earhart takes all the dances and parties.

Amelia Earhart Elementary school is excellent! The staff is caring and has high standards for students. I find the monthly calendars to be extremely helpful to keep me abreast of what is going on in the school.

I have recently transfered my daughter to another school due to poor quality of communication

It is a good school, family oriented, caring staff. Old building, needs remodeling, more money to update, but overall good.
