North Twin Lakes Elementary School Reviews

I have been teaching at North Twin Lakes for aboput 12 years. I have never heard or experienced any gang activity at our school. The comment sounds completely made up. If there was gang activity I would know about it. The teachers at this school are caring and dedicated to making every student suceed. The current principal is wonderful. We are an A+ school. This is a great school to bring your children.

My son started preK last year and had a wonderful year. This year they put him in an advanced class and is doing great. The teachers and principle are very involved.

I taught at North Twin Lakes Elementary a few years ago and there were never any major discipline problems nor was there ever any gang activity. The school was safe and caring. The faculty and staff were always looking for ways to improve student learning, were helpful and caring individuals who worried about their students, and helped them to do their best.

I now have two children in this school and they are very happy and very loved. I am very aware of what goes on at the school and I know alot of the children especially in the forth and fifth grades. I have never seen any kind of gang activity. If anything the children are very sweet and caring to each other. This is my daughters last year and the closer it gets to the end the more depressed we get knowing that our little family will be broken up.

My Daughter was in North Twin Lakes from Pre-K to 5th grade. It was my choice to keep her in that school, with a waiver, after we moved due to the excellent quality of school that it is. My husband and I were extremely sad as her last day at NTL was getting closer. We knew she would never experience the love and kindness from the dedicated teachers, staff, and students elsewhere. She cried so much on her last day as part of the NTL family. She will miss it very much.

I am a third grade teacher at North Twin Lakes and have been for 5 years. During my service there I haven't heard of any gang activity or the incident that was documented here. The author of the comment was not specific and does not sound authentic. Please use your discretion when reading these comments. Thank you. M. Vazquez, Third Grade
