The faculty of this school provides no support for students or parents. The administration is quick to request evaluation of your child without first providing other alternatives to improve the child's moral or focus on education. I should have learned from my first son that this school has no patience to deal with children.

Both of my children attend Silver Bluff Elem. and I must say moving down to that area was my best decision ever made. I have never seen so many caring people before. The teachers in this school are very dedicated to the children. There best intrest is knowing that all the children are learning at the same pace. I love this school and I'm so appreciative of what they do for my boys. The entire staff at Silver Bluff is doing a GREAT JOB!!! Thank you all so much.

I had a very good experience with Silver Bluff Elementary, unfortunately I had to transfer my children to another school this year because it was closer to my job. Silver Bluff is a great school the principal and her staff are the most competent people I have ever met and let me tell you my kids have been in private school too (Lincoln Marti). The school was going through some renovation last year but it looks great and it is always clean. I looked in the kids bathroom and notice that they also keep this area very clean. My kids loved it. They were very sad when they had to transfer to another school and leave their teachers and friends behind. I do recommend this school to any parent. Your kid would enjoy the teaching techniques and sports. Hope that future parents would enjoy Silver Bluff Elementary as we did. Thank you,

Great School..Teachers are well knowledged, the office staff courteous, fantastic Principal, outgoing Asst. Principal very involved, the cafeteria ladies are great very concern that the kids eat...Bathrooms are cleaner this year, they painted the school. Thou they need to improve on the parking when dropping and picking up the kids 'No where to park' and you can always get a ticket.

The building structure is clean and updated. And the neighborhood seems secure.

The school has improved in a lot of areas, but it still lacks of sufficient security and supervision. The portables are incredibly disgusting and the parent involvement is almost non-existent. School events are almost never announced with enough time to plan attending them. They try to make it look good, but when it comes to parents-school relationships they fail miserably. Another thing is thet they do not have gifted program/teacher for the kids in K-2 grades. They only have one teacher for kids in 3-5 grades. Other schools I know with less resources have gifted programs for kids starting since Kinder. Another problem is overcrowded classrooms. Where are they putting the kids for the new pre-k program? I don't see the physical space for that!

This school has the potential for so much yet it fails to deliver the goods. The student lack supervision and therefore are left to fend for themselves.

This school has been a big disappointment! This is my son's first year and he will not be going back next year. I don't think that there is enough supervision for the kindergarten kids. The kids are allowed to go to the rest rooms without any supervion, in the cafeteria they are also left with hardly any supervision. I have addressed this problem, and all they do is blame it on the school system. I think that is just an excuse. Something has to be done.My child came home the other day with half his lunch, when I asked what happen he said he could'nt finish it, someone spit in it. That is another... according to the teacher she has kids with behavior problems. My son comes home every day with a different complaint. It's ridiculous. Tis would not be happening if there where enough supervision.

My son has been in this school for the past 6 years (kinder thru 5th grade). It is a great school but security could be better and needs to be upgraded.
