Citrus Grove Middle School Reviews

I attended Citrus Grove from 04-07 and truthfully... I have mixed feelings about it. I LOVED the teachers, they're so cool. Like Mr. Salas, Mr. Luc, Ms. Edwards, Mr. Fischer, and Mr. C Perez (which was the BEST teacher ever). But it seems like the administration doesn't care about their students. The area is horrible!! Once I moved to Miami from Miami Beach my grades dropped. Now that I moved back to the beach and attend High School it's better. Cirtus is just one of those schools that you don't have a passion for, but you have to get used to it.

i like my school like ms.ana fiscer.she is the most best teachers you can have for 6 or 7 grade she help us she is a very nice reading teacher .

I am a very happy parent this year at citrus grove middle, we have a new principal that work hard and the resutls are outstading. When I heard my son asking me to get to buy new uniform's color, also style with a mandatory code, I really knew that this will be a glorious year! that I was waiting for a long time. My best and sincere thanks to our administrator ms. Emirce lagada. Without her and staff its couln't be a better school year 2005-2006. Regards, Ms. Marinitza Velez, active parentvice- president ptsa and essac parent chair

My Daughter's teacher,Mrs Edwards,Mr Salas,Mr Farjado,Mrs Novak has been extremely patient and wonderful with my daughter. If ther was something I need to address right away, the response was immediately give back to me.Also her grades are improving a whole lot with each individual teacher. Thanks a whole bunch, from a mother's view.Sorry that I did not mentioned Mr Menendez he had replace the other teacher.I have to meet him very soon.

I am severely disappointed with my son's progress since he began this school. My son is a second generation attendee and this school was not great when I attended and is much worst now. The teachers and administration do not communicate with the parents. They show abosolutely no interest in finding solutions to ongoing problems. I am sorry I ever had my son attend and waste two years of his education trying to make headway in a school which does not really put effort in extracting the best of their students.

The school is a positive, growing, developing educational institution that has recently acquired a young stable of enthusiastic and capable teachers/staff personnel. While their testing scores are hovering in the 'C-' range, I expect their performance to only improve due the quality of some of their newest additions, as well as the ferocious tenacity of the administrative staff. The teachers seem to legitimately care about their students.

I went to this school when I was a kid and I have to say things are very different now. This school is a great disappointment to me. My children have been going to this school since the 6th grade and not once has a teacher told me anything encouraging in reference to their education. If anything all the teachers do on the parent/teacher conferences is complain about the children. Not once have I heard anything positive about a child that is not doing so good. Teachers are there to educate our children not to criticize them. This school used to be good. I don't know what went wrong.
