Mr. Crawford & Mr. Baker are very professional and caring, school staff is very nice. Teachers need more communication with student and parents with teachers.

To start I graduated a year ago I know Ms. Prado and Mr. Jarrell, and I agree those are teachers(even though it takes a while to notice). Now I say from extreme experience that the environment in this school is no environment any child should be put in. I don t know if the school just as bad as I left it but, in my stay in this school I seen the unimaginable. Now I can surly tell you a child will change when he goes to this school. It would be difficult for a child to concentrate with drugs, gangs and danger all around him. Now the administration and some students could pretend and tell you its not there but it sure is. Iam not exaggerating this school is in the ghetto and exposes you to things. So you should think twice before coming to this school.

To start off, im an 8th grader this year and i couldnt be more happy to leave this school! For one is the discipline! These kids are out of control! Having fights here and there! As for the cleanness of the school....negative! As for teachers, north dade has some wonderful teachers! The Earth Space Sciece teacher Mr. Jarrell is one of the best teachers there! He cares so much for the kids and that they learn!Really i wouldnt recommend this school unless you are ready to tough it out! I had to take in 3 years of insults!

North Dade is a excellent school. I'm in the 8th grade right now taking biology, geometry, and spanish 2. I'm going to have 6 credis when I leave North Dade. There are some strict teachers like MsPrado who is lawyer and used too work with President Bill Clinton. Our principal MsDavis is the strictest one there and is good at her job. They have an adopt-a-student program and real good clubs. The only thing I hate about North Dade is the end of the year field trips. We only go to Magic Kingdom in Disney World each year.

North Dade Middle is a great school. I now have 6 high school credits and am very successful. I would recommend this school to any other parent out there. This school offers great courses such as Honors and Gifted programs. The principal, Mrs. Davis, is a very strict principal, but however is very involved with the kids. She is always encouraging students and parents to be more involved in school activities and she usually has a great response from all teachers, faculty, staff, students, and parents.

This school is so horrible that it should be shut down, the ap biology is quite excellent though.

This school this year has been a total discipline problem. As a student there, I've been very disappointed on how the quality has dropped in the last couple of years. The magnet is great however. I'd only send my child there if they were in the magnet and willing to brave the insults of the regular children who attend there. With the IB diploma, kids are guaranteed 100% free tuition to any florida university. It's a great oppurtunity to take advantage of.

This school has a very good magnet program. I also like the fact that they have in house study groups; helps for kids who can not stay after school. The student counselor is very involved with the kids. The kids are always smiling and have a great repore with the teachers.

This school does not have much to offer to the students as far as programs and funding availability. Much improvement and efforts is needed by government and school board.

I am very pleased with my daughter attending this school. I do not have to worry about discipline or punishments, security, nothing at all. The school has a very strict principal and assistant principal. The schooloffers honors and gifted programs, they have a terrific band called the thunderbirds, softball and other sportd. When they have functions at the school, I find the parent turnoout is wonderful, many events have standing room only. i would definitely reccommend this school to anyone concerned about their childs education, I am extremely pleased.

My son has been attending this school for two years now. (6th-7th) It was recommended as a magnet school for him after leaving elementary school. He was very disappointed when he started because it was nothing like he had expected. To start with it was outdoors and had no lockers, therefore books for all 6 classes had to be toted daily. After the first quarter he has some academic problems so I requested meeting with all of his teachers. Two out of the six ever returned my call. Teacher absentee and turnover is extremely high! It's supposed to be a uniform school but no rules are put in place to enforce the dress code and essentially kids wear whatever they want. He comes home daily with stories about food fights in the cafetria, clothes being stolen at gym and skipping school is an everyday activity! It's out of control!
