Downtown Miami is located in the heart of South Florida, just a short drive from Miami Beach, and you may be able to book a room in Downtown Miami for the highly anticipated Super Bowl LIV. There has never been a better time to enjoy the views of Biscayne Bay overlooking the Intercontinental Hotel. Within walking distance of the Intercontinental Hotel is an open-air shopping center with over 150 shops, from national brands to local merchants and souvenir shops. Staying at the Intercontinental is a great opportunity to kill two birds with one stone, overlooking Miami Bay and the Miami River, as well as the city skyline.
The lobby has access to two restaurants and a bar and a 1.60-metre-high travertine marble sculpture called "Spindle," created by master sculptor Henry Moore.
Wheelchair users are allowed, as is a minibar that uses sensors to charge everything that moves in the room. The minibar has a full service restaurant, bar and lounge area, and there is an outdoor terrace with pool, pool table and picnic table. Standard rooms do not have mini-fridges or microwaves, but they do have access to microwave, mini-fridge and mini water heater. As with standard rooms, you can request a "mini-fridge" for $35 a day.
